It depends on how good your lawyer is. I suggest, for the children, working out options with her before going to court, if this is at all possible. Normally, I think the court is more apt to grant custody to the mother, and even though she cheated, most states don't take that into consideration. If you can prove that she is unfit in any way as a mother (pays more attention to the person she cheated with- etc.), you may have better luck.
Good luck to you! What happens when a wife cheats on a husband?
I need help too.
I caught my wife in bed with my best friend Dec. 16- 08. She took my taxes, had me beat up, cause i reported her abouse to CPS ect.

The answer to all your questions is No.
You caught her cheating but if the children was OUT of the house, they wouldn't be involved. The rest of your questions depends on what a judge says. The first obligation is the children and whats best for them so even tho adultery is a reason for divorce, its not necessarily a reason for anything else.
you need to document the cheating...or even times when she may not be watching the children and just out...work hours etc...how much time does she spend with the children?..it varies but with some legal help you be able to maintain most of what you have worked for..and keep the children if you can prove she has been cheating.
As far as custody goes...it depends on your case against her. If you can prove her unfit then the scale tips in your favor. The money situation depends on financial status of each partner. The laws differ in every state so talk to a lawyer.
That will be all up to the court decide. They will look at both your financial records/pay stubs. I suggest hiring a good lawyer and hopefully she gets nothing.
I don't have the answer. But unfortunately, we share...the exact same question. Please. If you're out there with the answer, WE NEED IT. :(
