Amazon is pre-selling his book for less than retail price. Will he make the same on each sale? I don't feel like reading all the fine print on his contract to figure this out. Thanks! Will my husband make less money in royalties on a book sold at a discount than on one sold for full price?
Probably. It really depends on two things
1- whether the royalty rate is set on cover price (good) or sale price (bad) and
2 - whether or not amazon is discounting the price ';in house'; (which would not necessarily apply).
