Buy some new baby clothes and put them in a bag. (like a present). Tell him it's for something special, and let him unwrap it.
I got together with my husbands go workers and we had HIM a surprise baby shower. He had no idea it was for him, and was upset no one told him who it was for he was embarassed he didnt have a gift for the baby. So when ';I'; brought out the cake that said congrats to me and my husband he had tears in his eyes. He was so surprised.

Go to Toys R Us and get the book ';I'm a Big Sister, (or Brother';- they have both-and let your husband catch your first born reading it (or eating it as they case may be!) or set up the crib while he's gone one day!!!
Send flowers to his work with the message: Congratulations Daddy number two.
leave a note under his pillow that says daddyim on my way or something like that and get a newborn onesies or some little article or newborn clothing and he should be surprised or if you really want to get expensive buy or use your old babys carseat and put it in his car and he'll see the toy maybe leave a litle stuffed animal on it along with the note.. good luck and congrats =)
You could tie a big pink %26amp; blue ribbon around your tummy and at the same time, present him with a gift wrapped positive home pregnancy test.
I'm sure this will get about 40 thumbs down...I see most of these suggestions are getting thumbs down...but oh well, *I* think it's a great idea!
I wouldn't be able to keep such a huge secret from him until Father's Day though...that's a whole month from now! I'd be bursting to tell him!

What about sending a gift-wrapped baby rattle or some clothing to his work address? Don't put a note in there or anything, just baby stuff...

This may sound a little crazy, but I think it's cute!
Go to the pet store and get four gold fish. Get two big ones to represent you and your husband and two smaller ones for your child and your new one.
Then, when your husband is out, clog his bathroom sink and fill it up to the top with water. (Talk to the guy @ the pet store at what type of water is okay for the gold fish. But they're not gonna be in there for that long, so it's okay.)
Put the goldfish in the water.
Then, write on the mirror above the sink:

Then, write on a loose leaf paper:
I'M PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fold the loose leaf paper up and tape it to the mirror (below what you wrote about the fish in the sea.) After he sees the fish, he will be laughing so hard, and after he reads the note, he will probably be crying of happiness.
It is cute and a little childish.

If your other child is old enough to color, have he or she draw a family portrait with you, him, he or she and the baby that is on the way and let them give it to him.
take you, your husband, and your one child, to dinner, asy it nicely and make sure its a quiet resturant. say, ';honey, (child's name), (husbands name), I have some really good news. Mommy is gonna have a baby.
Get a shirt for your older child from Babies R Us that says ';Im the big brother/sister'; and let him figure it out LOL!!
You should get a babysitter for your child and tell your husband that you guys are going out for the night and it's a surprise. When you guys get to where you are going (dinner,club,where ever) take off your jacket and have a shirt on that says, ';Designated Driver...A.K.A. Knocked Up.'; My friend just found out she was pregnant several weeks ago and bought a shirt that said that and we all went out to celebrate...it was too cute! And Congratulations!

Put a bun in the over and say honey the oven has been playing up and whatch him look puzzled when he opens the oven to find a bun.
Maybe get a card that says thank you. then inside say thank you for bringing me into the world can't wait to meet my older bro/sis and you and my mummy...

I made our son a shirt that said I'm a big brother and put it on him right before my hubby got home. He got the idea pretty quickly.

Maybe you could give him an early Father's Day card, and sign it from the three of you! You, your little one, and baby-to-be.
Wait till fathers day...and let your first child wear a cute sign......or big bro/sis shirt
Start unpacking some of the old baby stuff.... set out a crib, a car seat.... something that indicates a baby will live with you again. Congratulations (i think)
