How my husband can get all his money that he worked for that the boss doesn't want to pay him for?

My husband was working for a mexican restaurant and was being paid about $500 every two weeks and was working from 9am till 10pm, 11pm and only 2 hrs break in the day. Now before the boss kicked him out of a job, he got paid $400 for 2 weeks and that's not right. How and where do I go to get the rest of his money that he hardly worked all day for?How my husband can get all his money that he worked for that the boss doesn't want to pay him for?
If your husband has a time sheet, punch card or a contract with the guy, you can go to the local labour board.

If your husband was working under the table (for cash)...he's hooped.

Only way he'll get it is if he goes to take it from the guy.How my husband can get all his money that he worked for that the boss doesn't want to pay him for?
Start with your local labor department office of hours and wages. White Pages government section. I don't know the exact rules, but he can go to small claims court and a judge may order that he be paid.

This can get fun, because if he doesn't pay after the court order, you can get another judge to let you hire the Sherrif to stand by the cash register and get your money as each customer pays.
$250.00 a week is not even minimum wage at 40 hours Never mind upwards of 80 hours a week as you say.

That means that your husband IS or at least was working AS an illegal alien! NO WORRIES, I have had to do it too in the restaurant business

You go and you ask him for what is owed and threaten to blow the whistle on him if he does not! Go there with the proof written out.( your scratch paper that you figgerd it out on)

But you have to be willing to follow through! SO if you are illegal, there is not much you can do, and He knows that!
He worked for it, he deserves it. March up to his boss, and threaten to sue him. (I know im being pretty ridiculous with it, but hey, skipping out on a hundred bucks isnt fair either.)
sue him
