Food ideas for a surprise 40th for my husband, the day after Christmas?

I am renting a hall %26amp; getting a dj for a night time party approx 75-100 guests, probably a sports theme. No idea what to do for food!! I don't want to ask people to bring anything, especially since it is Christmas time!Food ideas for a surprise 40th for my husband, the day after Christmas?
Go to Costco or Sams and get trays of shrimp, cheese and crackers, fruit trays, mini cheesecake bites, anything they have lots of. I get lots of good ideas just walking around that store!





mini chimichangas, chips and salsa, mini tacos, guacamole








chocolate fountain with all kinds of things to dip in it: marshmallows, cinnamon bears, bananas and other fruit, pieces of angel food cake cut up, cookies, strawberries - or that might be to girly...





sports theme...little smokies (mini sausages) in bbq sauce, meatballs of all kinds - sweet n sour :) bbq, swedish meatballs. You could have crock pots of several types of meatballs (also bought frozen at Costco in large amounts)





Baked potato bar! You have roasters full of baked potatoes cooked and wrapped in foil, then a variety of toppings for them - chili, stroganoff, sour cream, onions, cheese, bacon bits, broccoli...everything in the world on a baked potatoFood ideas for a surprise 40th for my husband, the day after Christmas?
You should have some type of meat available. Fried chicken, burgers, steak, anything along those lines. Fried chicken and burgers would be the best if you're doing a sports theme. Keeping in line with a sports theme, for appetizers you could have pigs in blankets, quesadillas, chips and dip etc. You should always have a vegetarian main course as well, in case there are people who don't eat meat or who are picky eaters. Macaroni and cheese would be a great option, or vegetarian lasagna. As for sides, mashed potatoes, corn, peas things like that. For dessert you could have one large sheet cake, and then maybe some different types of cookies on the side.
Why not have donuts!! You could use them as quoits
